Dave's Not Here ‚ The Ultimate Album
Dave's Not Here are from Austin/Texas and play a Funky/Rock/Hardcore stylereleased The Ultimate Album a real Kick-ass-album. In Germany we would say: "Das rockt wie ein Elch", which means: it is more than great. Their new album is diversified with fast and slow songs. Also the Soul and Blues elements make the album very interesting. The bass-lines remind me partly of T.M. Stevens or the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the guitarplayer is on a level with Michael "Master Blaster" Barnes.
On a scale from 1-10 I would give Dave's Not Here 9 Points. They would recieve the full number of points but the vocals not good enough, that's my opinion and a matter of taste.
All told, The Ultimate Album a great album for having fun and making a party. It is definitely worth buying.
